Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Are Ready For 2024 Super Bowl After A Long Break

Is this the year the curse finally breaks and the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders get to perform in front of a Super Bowl audience for the first time since January 28, 1996, when Troy, Emmitt, and The Playmaker defeated the Steelers in Super Bowl XXX?

For the DCC, the road to Las Vegas and Super Bowl LVII begins on Sunday in the Big D against the Aaron Rodgers-less New York Jets in a game where the 36 cheerleaders should get a workout cheering on Micah Parsons and the defense as they chase poor Zach Wilson all over the NEW artificial turf Jerry had installed during the offseason.

For eight rookies, Anna, Brooklyn, Camille, Kennedy, McKenna, Reece, Taylor, and Zoe, this is their first experience with a team that has five postseason victories since that run to the memorable day in 1996.

A couple of women named Chandi and Kelcey, who are beginning their fifth year of service to the company, will be looked to for veteran leadership by the newcomers. In Group 4, Chandi will be partnered with Meg, a veteran of three years, as she previously indicated. I have no idea what that implies or how that group does on the sidelines, but you have to think they’ll be strong if you combine a 5th and a 3rd year into the same group.

Let’s just say that over the course of their NFL cheerleading careers, those two have witnessed a few things as Dak and the lads have worked so hard to bring Jerry playoff victory.

As for Kelcey, a classmate in her fifth year, she got engaged on Saturday before the ‘Boys started to play well. In 2024, is it possible to see a double-ring ceremony for Kelcey and the “Boys”? Look, this is the tension that grows throughout the NFL season. We have cheerleaders who might use rings twice. To show Jimmy Johnson that he is a renowned general manager and owner, Jerry is doing everything in his power to win another game.

The ‘Boys are America’s Team because of this. The cheerleaders will be there to keep spirits up all the way into the playoffs since they will be featured on national broadcasts for about 15 out of the next 17 weeks.

My only advice is to buckle up. A new season of big-boy football in The D is here. It’s time to start playing.
