Dak Prescott Joins Colorectal Cancer Alliance Awareness Campaign, PSA Goes Viral

Prescott has offered to help with the Colorectal Cancer Alliance’s Lead from Beyond campaign by helping to film a PSA video. The humorous campaign, which debuted in 2022, uses comedy to spread the word about the significance of getting screened for colon cancer. Previous films included Terry Crews and Ryan Reynolds.

Colon cancer is the second-deadliest cancer in the US, according to the National Cancer Institute.

A PSA raising awareness was produced by the MVP contender and the foundation on Friday morning, and a lot of fans on social media concur that it’s the s——t.

He begins by listing some of the “s–t” that, as a quarterback in the NFL, he receives from fans. Prescott then goes over the process of getting screened for colon cancer and if you end up using a home screening kit the joy of placing a sticker of “something you want to s–t on” on the sample collection container.

“Not a fan of marine life? Slap it on,” Prescott said, showing a picture of a Dolphin. “Have issues with old-timey prospectors? Boom. It works with anything.”

One of the most prominent decals shown by the two-time Pro Bowl player is a “large American predatory bird,” which is obviously an eagle and makes a subtle allusion to the Philadelphia Eagles, the team’s opponent.

Prescott was selected the Walter Payton Man of the Year for 2022 in February because of his charitable foundation’s efforts to prevent suicide and advance cancer research in remembrance of his brother and mother, respectively.

An NFL player is awarded the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award for “his excellence on and off the field,” according to the league.

Entering Week 14, the Cowboys are sitting at 9-3. With the most number of passing touchdowns (26) in the NFL, the fifth-highest passing yards (3,234), and a QB rating of 108.3, Prescott is currently the favorite to earn NFL MVP.
