Dak Prescott Is Back, Grateful For The Role Cooper Rush Played

In Week 7 against the Lions on Sunday, Dak Prescott returned to the field. The Cowboys began Cooper Rush in place of the quarterback, who had been out since Week 1 due to a thumb injury. The responsibility given to cook a rush was well handled by him. Dak Prescott, when returned, thanked Cooper Rush for the role he played in the absence of the quarterback.

As a reaction, Dak Prescott praised his teammate on Instagram. Dak has wished to recognise Rush’s efforts on his social media accounts by sharing all the positive comments made about him and posted on those accounts by his club, the Cowboys.

The Dallas Cowboys are in a crucial week. It’s always fun to watch them play, but this week’s celebrations will be much more exciting with the arrival of franchise quarterback Dak Prescott. Fans of the Cowboys are thrilled to have him back. Since he plays a crucial role in the team’s output and leadership, many observers witnessed the season unravelling right in front of their eyes when he fractured his thumb in Week 1.

As the game went along, Dak Prescott was able to improve his performance. He said after the game that was due in part to his thumb not bothering him much.

“Honestly, after the first couple of throws, I wasn’t thinking about the thumb,” Prescott told Tracy Wolfson on the CBS broadcast. “I got in the groove there for a while. The ball was coming out good.”

But the Cowboys persevered for more than a month and were able to stay competitive (to put it mildly) by winning four straight games. The streak came to an end when they fell to the Philadelphia Eagles last week, but with a 4-2 record as October is about to draw to a conclusion, they remain very much in the mix in the NFC.

Football is a team sport and a team game, so many individuals, including the players and coaches, deserve praise for the team’s unexpected successes over the past month or two. As accurate as that is, it seems fitting to give special praise to Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush, who, throughout this period, played the most crucial position in the game and kept the team afloat to the point where they are now.
