Cris Collinsworth Makes R-rated Comment, NFL Fans In Disbelief!

Regarding Eagles guard Landon Dickerson, the venerable commentator made a statement.

While analysing a play in the Week 6 Sunday Night Football game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles, NBC analyst Cris Collinsworth made an odd remark about one of the Eagle’s players.

On Sunday night, while watching the Dallas Cowboys play the Philadelphia Eagles, Cris Collinsworth made an unintentionally sexually provocative remark that quickly went viral.

At the beginning of the fourth quarter, the Eagles had a 20-17 advantage and started running the ball down the Cowboys’ throat.

Dallas scored a touchdown to cut the deficit to three points, and on the first play Philadelphia had from scrimmage after that, Miles Sanders ran for 13 yards on a counterplay. To make a significant opening for Sanders on the right side, the Eagles had Sanders’ left guard Landon Dickerson and left tackle, Jordan Mailata, withdraw. Collinsworth adored the blocking strategy since it was so effective.

What Was The R-rated Comment Cris Collinsworth Made?

“Let them get a taste of some of these big guys coming at them. You think you’re going to run around our guy? How about if you get a little taste of Landon Dickerson coming right down your throat,” a giddy Collinsworth said.

The Twitterverse quickly noticed the comment and started posting about it online, even with Hall of Fame tackle Joe Thomas chiming in.

“If you had Cris Collinsworth saying “How about a taste of Landon Dickerson cumming right down your throat” on your bingo card…you’re looking to cash in BIG tonight!!” he posted alongside a video of the broadcast.

Although there are numerous ways to understand that statement, the internet will be the internet and interpret it incorrectly or find a way to make a comedy out of it.

Dickerson contributed to the Eagles’ offensive output of 26 points as they defeated their divisional opponent Dallas Cowboys, to get to 6-0.
