Creepy Smiles In Crowd At MLB, Even Haunts Lebron James

Today in “Human billboards, but we’re kind of into it?”  Actors hired to promote the upcoming horror movie Smile infiltrated three different Major League Baseball games last night, taking up positions where they’d be seen on the broadcast, standing still, and grinning into the camera for several innings at a time.

Creepy Smiling People Promoting “Smile

It’s possible that few MLB fans are aware of this, but well-known director Paramount has discovered a fresh technique to advertise their upcoming film “Smile.” And their movie promotion strategy appears to be doing a great job for them. Not to mention that NBA great LeBron James shared photos of himself as well.

The third time this strange person with a spooky smile appeared at an MLB game, according to TMZ.com. The Yankees and Red Sox were the initial opponents, followed by the Dodgers and Cardinals, while the most recent event involved the Mets and Oakland Athletics.

A report by TMZ, also affirmed that the next horror film, “The Smile”, is being widely promoted by its producers, who are also running this campaign. Hence, the creepy smiling people in the crowd were spotted!

Another MLB supporter claimed that the girl was simply pleased to have a front-row ticket to the athletics contest. Notably, on Saturday, the Oakland Athletics hosted a party for the New York Mets and shocked the NL East front-runners with a shocking victory.

The Atlanta Braves, the Mets’ divisional rivals, are only ahead by a twosome when it comes to the game. Additionally, with the regular season approaching to close, the Buck Showalter-led squad wouldn’t want to lose the division at such a key time

The stunt is a pretty decent summation of the disturbing attraction of the movie Smile if you haven’t seen the trailer, which actually scared the living daylights out of us with some of its more horrifying imagery: Lots of immobile people with blank, unsettling smiles that get kept for far too long.
