Conor McGregor Responds to ‘Flop’, ‘Nobody’ Jake Paul’s $100 Million Proposal for a Fight
Jake Paul will take on Hasim Rahman Jr in a few week’s time as the younger Paul brother looks to headline MSG for the first time in his career. Paul has had to overcome a lot of obstacles to get a date and an opponent lined up even then it does not look like the fight will go ahead.
In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, he revealed that Rahman and his team are looking for more money than they are contractually obliged to get which might lead to Paul not having an opponent for his MSG debut. However, if the fight does take place, Paul has bigger and better targets in mind once he does get past Rahman.
In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, he shared his thoughts on a potential fight with Conor McGregor. He said, “For me, fighting a couple more times, continuing to knock some people out and he has to get active again. Who knows when that’s going to happen? I think those two things need to happen.”
Speaking about the purse they would both receive for a fight, Paul said, “He’s a businessman. I’m a businessman and that’s you know 75 to 100 million dollars for both of us.”
In the interview, Diaz also mentioned that most people that say they will fight him and refuse to sign the contract. However, he believes Nate Diaz is not in the same category, and therefore, a fight between the two will definitely happen at some point in the future now that he is only one fight away from becoming a free agent.
