Conor McGregor Oddly Takes Over Sydney Sweeney’s Instagram, Diverting Attention From Her Film Promotion For Immaculate

In an odd move, Conor McGregor took over Sydney Sweeney’s Instagram post promoting her new movie, Immaculate.

Before the film’s release, Euphoria’s Sweeney shared pictures on the red carpet with her 18.8 million fans.

In this terrifying movie, which follows an American nun as she confronts horrors in rural Italy, she both stars and produces.

The film is scheduled for release on March 22, which is the day before Ewan McGregor makes his screen debut in the Road House revival.

On Instagram, Sweeney said, “IMMACULATE March 22nd.”

However, in response, McGregor—one of the greatest self-promoters in sports history—said, “@roadhousemovie March 21st.”

Fans were left perplexed and amazed by it, with one saying, “The promo on the promo is genius.”

Someone else said, “Marketing genius.”

In the remake of the 1989 Patrick Swayze masterpiece Road House, McGregor co-stars with Hollywood icon Jake Gyllenhaal.

He declared that he had defeated The Rock to become the highest-paid actor to make his debut.

He said the following in a since-deleted post on X: “What did you think of my acting debut movie trailer? Hell of a ride!

“I am now officially the highest-paid first-time actor of all time, on record, pipping Dwayne Johnson for the top spot. Incredible!”

Johnson received $5.5 million (£4.3 million) for his performance in The Mummy Returns in 2001. The Rock is his stage persona from his time spent competing in the WWE.

And the following year, in a spin-off film called The Scorpion King, he was even awarded a Guinness World Record for the achievement.

However, McGregor is not prepared to even consider a follow-up part, despite putting in grueling 18 HOUR DAYS on set.

He said: “It was good, it was tough. Would I do it again? I don’t know, probably not. I’m in no talks about it, I don’t even want to talk about it.”
