Columbus Blue Jackets center Cole Sillinger’s Cheating Rumors Spread Following Tate McRae’s Appearance at All-Star Game
After the singer Tate McCrae and the Columbus Blue Jackets center Cole Sillinger reportedly called it quits last year, Sillinger denied cheating on McCrae.
The 20-year-old Sillinger took to Instagram to respond to a post made by the meme account “blind_ref_logic,” which has 142,000 followers. The account accused Sillinger of having an affair with McRae, who is also 20.
In the comments, Sillinger stated, “All false my guy.”

The post included a collage of four images, one of which was of McRae and Sillinger and the other of which showed the Canadian singer at this past weekend’s NHL All-Star game.
The article said: “Step 1: Be Cole Sillinger. Step 2: Date out of your league (literally). Step 3: Cheat on her, jumpstarting her career [and] Step 4: She gets invited to the NHL All-Star game before you.”

The caption of the post, “Potentially the greatest fumble of a female in human history,” also made fun of Sillinger.
While performing during the festivities at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on Saturday, McRae stole the show as the NHL All-Star game’s entertainment headliner.
In an ensemble by I.AM.GIA which featured exclusive items from the brand’s SIN Collection, a personalized Kanya top, and shorts embellished with silver rhinestones, the multi-platinum singer looked breathtaking.

With the 12th pick overall in the 2021 NHL Draft, Sillinger was chosen by his local team, the Blue Jackets.
In an earlier interview with Entertainment Tonight, the singer claimed that they connected and that’s why they became romantically involved, calling her his “celebrity crush.”
“He’s one of my friend’s friends, so it all worked out,” McRae said. “It was really funny — I was like ‘I can forever hold this over you till the day you die, that I was your celebrity crush.’”

The Jason Wu fashion presentation took place on September 10, 2022, during New York Fashion Week, which McRae and Sillinger both attended.
Early in 2023, after Sillinger deleted all references to McRae from her Instagram, the former couple is said to have called it quits.
The music video for McRae’s popular song “Greedy,” which was filmed at a hockey rink and showed the singer dancing in a dressing room and riding a Zamboni, ignited fans.

McRae told People that the song was inspired by a conversation she had with a man in a pub after the video was out in September of last year.
Known for her breakup anthems, McRae clarified that “Greedy” isn’t like her earlier work.
“It’s a tongue-in-cheek kind of vibe,” she said. “I feel like it’s my most playful song I’ve written so far being like, ‘Yeah, I would want myself too and don’t expect it to come that quick.’”
The Australian rapper and singer The Kid LAROI is supposedly dating McRae.
During the NHL All-Star festivities in Toronto, the suspected pair was reportedly observed holding hands.
