Colorado Rockies: Coors Field – How to Reach, Where to Park, Eat and Get Tickets
The Denver-based Colorado Rockies play professional baseball in America. Coors Field, situated in Denver’s Lower Downtown neighborhood, is where the team’s home baseball contests are played. The Monfort brothers own it, and Bud Black oversees operations. The Rockies played their home games at Mile High Stadium for their first two seasons after being added as an expansion club for the 1993 season. They have played there since 1995, and it has developed a reputation as a hitter’s field.
After winning 14 of their final 15 games of the regular season to claim a Wild Card spot, the club 2007 won its first NL pennant. Following their respective NLDS and NLCS victories over the Philadelphia Phillies and Arizona Diamondbacks, the Colorado Rockies began the 2007 World Series, having won 21 of their previous 22 games. However, the American League (AL) winner Boston Red Sox defeated them in four games.
