Cincinnati Bengals vs Dallas Cowboys Week 2 2022: TV Coverage, Live Scores, Odds Lines, Spreads, and Predictions

Game Preview

Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals succumbed to a disappointing opening day defeat to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Bengals were favorites to win the game and were in cruise control for most of it. However, two crucial field goals from Chris Boswell, sealed the win for the men from Pittsburgh.

The game was even at 20-points apiece at the end of the fourth quarter. In overtime, a 53-yard field goal secured the win for the Steelers.

Joe Burrow had a tumultuous season-opening performance, turning the ball over five times and taking seven sacks behind an offensive line that failed to limit both Cameron Heyward and TJ Watt. Ja’Marr Chase picked up right where he left off last year. The second-year receiver hauled in 10 catches for 129 yards against the Steelers’ secondary. The Bengals have a lot of positive to take from their opening game performance as they get ready to face the Dallas Cowboys.

Cincinnati Bengals vs Dallas Cowboys–Predictions

Final Score Prediction: Bengals: 30 | Cowboys: 12

Cowboys, on the other hand, were dominated by Brady and the Buccaneers in their season opener. To make things worse, quarterback Dak Prescott suffered an injury to his thumb during the game. It was later revealed that Prescott would have to undergo surgery and will be out for 6-8 weeks, which essentially ends any hopes the Cowboys had of making it to the postseason.

Dak Prescott completed 14 of 29 passes for 134 yards, with no touchdowns and one interception. In his absence, the Cowboys do not have a quarterback of the same caliber who can service the likes of CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup, among others effectively. It should be another win for Brady and his men against a weakened Cowboys side.
