A few people, including @devindoob and Gregg Giannotti of WFAN in New York, shared snippets of Toney’s video on Twitter/X before it vanished from Toney’s Instagram profile.

After the birth of his baby, Toney was sidelined on Saturday due to a hip ailment as well as personal reasons. On Sunday, he went on an obscenity-filled tirade on Instagram Live, accusing the Chiefs of fabricating the injury.
“Y’all reading all this cap-ass s–t? You didn’t believe it, I don’t give a f–k,” Toney said. “Ain’t never been a n—a to do all that but man, that s–t cap.
“I’m not hurt. None of that s–t. Save that s–t. S–k my d–k too. I’m not hurt. None of that. It goes from hip to ankle to this to that.”

Not a single other source has affirmed Toney’s claim as true. He reportedly brought a kid into the world on Saturday, which helped to explain why he was not allowed to play against Baltimore. Toney had a hectic weekend because January 28 was also his birthday.

Unless there’s some very surprising news or reason for this outburst, Toney merely made a string of awful decisions. First off, “what’s really going on” is easy to understand if Toney is correct that he has been healthy since his previous game on December 17 against the New England Patriots, when he dropped a ball that was intercepted by the team. He’s been placed on the bench.
In October 2022, the Giants sent Toney, 25, to Kansas City in exchange for a transaction that included picks in the third and sixth rounds.
In the Chiefs’ Week 1 defeat to the Detroit Lions, Toney had one of the worst wide receiver performances in modern NFL history due to an injury sustained prior to the first official snaps of training camp.

With only 27 receptions, 169 receiving yards, and one touchdown at the end of the 2023 regular season, he impressed.
On the other hand, he has 27 receptions for 169 yards and one score this season on 38 targets. Kansas City topped the league in interceptions as a unit (44) and Toney’s drop rate (13.2) among targets is among the lowest in the NFL.
What did the Chiefs give for Kadarius Toney?

Now that the NFL draft for 2023 has taken place, the outcomes of that deal are official. Toney was acquired by the Chiefs in exchange for Giants draft selections No. 100 and No. 209.

Why did Kadarius Toney change his number?
“My boyfriend passed away in an accident not long after graduating from high school. Although he did not survive, the number 19 really represents him. Apart from paying tribute to McCants, it’s evident that this also represents a new beginning for Toney’s NFL career.
