Chiefs Offensive Linemen Troll Eagles During Super Bowl 57 Parade

During their victory parade for Super Bowl LVII on Wednesday, the teasing Kansas City Chiefs poked fun at the Philadelphia Eagles.

Chiefs Offensive Linemen Troll Eagles During Super Bowl 57 Parade

The Chiefs were aware heading into the game that they would be facing the league’s second-best defence in terms of yards allowed per game during the regular season. The Eagles’ 20.2 points allowed per game ranked eighth in the NFL.

But, they also were first in the NFL for total quarterback sacks with 70 in just 17 games. In the two postseason games they played before the game in Glendale, they also showed their might against the New York Giants and the San Francisco 49ers.

When it came to sacks, the Eagles were far and away the league leaders, and they faced a weakened Patrick Mahomes.

The defensive front should have had a big day, but as the game started, that unit was silent. And the Chiefs don’t want to let the Eagles get the last word.

The Eagles were not sacked throughout the game thanks to the Chiefs offensive line. And even if the poor field conditions contributed to it, the Chiefs O-line has earned the right to celebrate.

Orlando Brown Jr., a Chiefs offensive lineman, tweeted after the game, “0 sacks, put it on a (expletive) T-Shirt!!!!” Ask and receive.

At the Super Bowl parade in Kansas City on Wednesday, the Chiefs offensive line did in fact wear “0 Sacks” jerseys.

I really doubt that many Eagles players are watching the parade, but they most likely switched the channel when they saw those jerseys. The Chiefs O-line won the battle hands down, so there is really no rebuttal to that either.

Fans of the Chiefs especially adored the fact that the players produced jerseys based on the tweet.

The trolling began well before the Chiefs took to the streets of Kansas City to celebrate.

JuJu Smith-Schuster posted a Valentine’s Day card that took a shot at Eagles cornerback James Bradberry’s crucial holding penalty at the end of the game. The call set up the Chiefs’ game-winning field goal. “I’ll hold you when it matters most,” the card said.

For now, the Chiefs have the final word with the Vince Lombardi Trophy in their grasp.
