Chiefs heiress Gracie Hunt backs Harrison Butker amid ‘homemaker’ speech controversy

Harrison Butker, the kicker for the Kansas City Chiefs, has drawn support from some people following his contentious graduation speech.

This week, Butker gained notoriety for a speech in which he disparaged the Pride movement and labeled women as “homemakers.”

During his roughly 20-minute lecture, Butker asserted that women had been the victims of “the most diabolical lies told” and implied that their primary motivation was to start a family rather than pursue a profession.

“For the ladies present today, congratulations on an amazing accomplishment,” Butker said.

“You should be proud of all that you have achieved to this point in your young lives. I want to speak directly to you briefly, because I think it is you, the women, who have had the most diabolical lies told to you.

“How many of you are sitting here now, about to cross this stage, and are thinking about all the promotions and titles you are going to get in your career?

“Bad policies and poor leadership have negatively impacted major life issues. Things like abortion, IVF, surrogacy, euthanasia, as well as a growing support for degenerate cultural values and media, all stem from the pervasiveness of disorder,” Butker said.
