Chicago Cubs: Wrigley Field – How to Reach, Where to Park, Eat and Get Tickets

The Chicago Cubs are a Major League Baseball team that has been a part of the National League since 1876. The Cubs play their home games at Wrigley Field, located in the North Side neighborhood of Chicago. The Cubs are one of the oldest and most storied franchises in all of sports, with a long and often tumultuous history that has been marked by both triumphs and disappointments.

For much of their history, the Cubs were known as the “lovable losers” of baseball. The team had a long streak of futility that spanned decades, with the Cubs going 108 years without winning a World Series championship. During that time, Cubs fans suffered through many heartbreaking losses, including a devastating defeat in the 2003 NLCS, when the team was just five outs away from reaching the World Series.

Despite these setbacks, Cubs fans remained fiercely loyal to their team. Wrigley Field, the Cubs’ iconic ballpark, is known for its ivy-covered walls, manual scoreboard, and unique atmosphere. The stadium is a beloved institution in Chicago and is one of the most recognizable sports venues in the world.
