After being removed from a game, a cheerleader gained internet fame over the weekend. She was fired as a result of an altercation with an adversary player that happened on the court.

Following the strange series of events, social media has been swamped with reactions.

The basketball game on Saturday between Mississippi Valley State and Alabama A&M was excellent entertainment in every way. In addition to the game being decided in the last few seconds, the broadcast booth was hilarious and a cheerleader got sent off.

The incident occurred during a recent game between Alabama A&M and Mississippi Valley State. A player from Alabama A&M tried to inbound the basketball late in the game when the score was 63-63 between the two rivals.

The play began to seem innocent. The player handed the ball to a teammate who sprinted up the court after receiving it. However, closer inspection reveals that you can see an MSVU cheerleader sort of slam into the Bulldog player behind the hoop.

She evidently found the bump offensive since it prevented her from supporting her team. The cheerleader informed the Alabama A&M player when the Bulldogs returned to their end of the floor.

She stepped onto the ground before shoving the player in anger.

The climax of the evening occurred with just under three minutes remaining, when a Delta Devils cheerleader was expelled from the game, despite the fact that the score was close. Her dismissal was the result of several instances in which she obstructed play, but it all came to a strange conclusion when she decided to leave the court in the middle of a game to confront an opponent.

A player for Alabama A&M was the target of some harsh remarks from the cheerleader as she made her way from behind the baseline all the way to the centre of the key. Additionally, she seemed to touch his arm.

At that moment, the powers that be decided to have her leave with the help of a security detail. The cheerleader exited politely, but it was quite a scene.

One person wrote, “Simply inappropriate and that was the right call.”

It’s not the first strange event with a cheerleader during a basketball game that we’ve witnessed. Just last week, during another SWAC game, a cheerleader who was trying to divert the attention of the opposition’s players during free throws was called for interfering.

A yelling war between players and coaches on one side and spectators on the bench resulted in a close call during that game as well. One or more coaches were spotted stumbling into the throng to confront the spectators.
