Chariah Gordon ‘Crying My Eyes Out’ After Her Boyfriend’s Mecole Hardman Winning SB Touchdown
Mecole Hardman Jr., Chariah Gordon’s boyfriend, completed the Chiefs’ Super Bowl 2024 victory on Sunday in Las Vegas, leaving Gordon “crying my eyes out.”
The wide receiver Hardman hauled in a 3-yard pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes to seal a 25-22 victory over the 49ers in overtime. Gordon, pictured in an emotional post on her Instagram Stories, seems tearful as she walks through what looks to be Allegiant Stadium.

“I’m literally crying my eyes out, God is so good,” In a video, she said with lots of emotion.
Hardman, who joined the Jets at the start of the season and was moved back to Kansas City in October—the team where he won two Super Bowls in 2020 and 2023—had a fairytale finish.
Mahomes, who assisted in leading the Chiefs to consecutive titles, stated after the game that Hardman was unaware the game was finished when he made the catch.

“Can I tell you a quick funny story?” Mahomes said. “I threw a touchdown to this dude to end the game and he had no idea. I said, ‘Dude, we just won the Super Bowl. He had no idea. He didn’t even celebrate at the beginning.”
Hardman then recalled and said, “I caught the ball and I blacked out. I’m not going to lie. I saw Pat running toward me and I was like, ‘Oh, we just won.’ After that, the rest is history.”

The game-winning touchdown was scored by the 25-year-old wide receiver on three receptions for 57 yards.
In an Instagram tribute, Gordon, who has reportedly been dating Hardman since at least September 2021, gushed over the Super Bowl hero.
