Chandler Jones Alleges Coach Josh McDaniels Caused Aaron Hernandez’s Death

Jones’s 25-minute Instagram Live on X (previously Twitter) ended with him sobbing and discussing Raiders coach Josh McDaniels and former player Aaron Hernandez.

“You have no idea what Josh McDaniels really did to Aaron Hernandez.” “Y’all thought Aaron Hernandez committed suicide in jail,” Jones sobbed, switching off the feed.

Jones and Hernandez were teammates with the Patriots, and McDaniels was the team’s offensive coordinator.

Hernandez committed suicide in jail after being convicted of murder in 2017.

The two-time All-Pro defensive end, who is presently on the non-football injury list, posted a video of himself sitting by a fire at his Nevada home on Thursday, talking with his fans and discussing a variety of issues.

Jones, 33, has asserted many times that he is sane and wants to continue his career with the Raiders… only days after claiming he was brought to a mental facility and forced to take a narcotic.

Jones sobs throughout the closing minutes of the webcast, implying McDaniels had something to do with Hernandez’s death.

Hernandez spent three seasons in the NFL before being caught and charged with murder, which resulted in a life sentence. Hernandez committed suicide in his detention cell on April 19, 2017, at the age of 27.

Jones played with the New England Patriots from 2012 to 2015 (winning one Super Bowl), then the Arizona Cardinals from 2016 to 2021 before joining the Raiders in 2022. Jones, who was named to the NFL’s All-Decade Team in 2010, is regarded as one of the top defensive players of his age.

Jones said on Instagram on September 23 that he no longer wanted to play for the Raiders after they reportedly shut him out of their facilities. Jones was placed on the non-football illness list and has been away from the team.
