Henne described one of the most unusual components of the Chiefs star’s regimen during an interview. Mahomes uses the same pair of red underpants for every game, the recently retired QB jokingly revealed.
While praising the Super Bowl MVP for his disciplined routine and dedication to his profession, Henne disclosed that part of Mahomes’ superstitious regimen for as long as he would be in Kansas City includes donning the same pair of red underwear every Sunday.

Sunday, it’s the same pair,” Henne said with a laugh, adding that the brand is either Lululemon or Haynes.
He has a peculiar ritual that he does before every game, but why fix what isn’t broken? Since Mahomes started as the starter, the Chiefs have advanced to the AFC title game each season. The squad has been in three Super Bowls throughout that time, winning two of them.
If wearing red underwear is a crucial component of Mahomes’ pregame ritual, then so be it. He is the one celebrating his second Super Bowl triumph by marching through Kansas City.
