Brink made her declaration after Stanford’s defeat by USC in the Pac-12 tournament final, in which she scored the most points (19) and pulled down the most rebounds (10).

“My four years at Stanford have been nothing short of life-changing,” Brink said. “I cannot begin to express my love for everyone I’ve met and everything I’ve learned in Palo Alto. … I am excited to announce that I will be declaring for the 2024 WNBA Draft.”

Brink is still focused on Stanford’s impending NCAA tournament run, despite her dreams of playing in the WNBA.

Brink’s efforts were acknowledged by head coach Tara VanDerveer, who said, “She’ll go down as one of the best in program history.”

Among Brink’s achievements are her two consecutive Pac-12 Player of the Year titles and her third Defensive Player of the Year crown.

Congratulations, Cameron Brink! The best is still to come, says Steph Curry.

In light of the pandemic, Brink’s decision to forgo a fifth year at Stanford is consistent with another standout Caitlin Clark’s decision to declare for the draft.
