Caitlin Clark Showed Her Love Towards Boyfriend Connor McCaffery On Valentine’s Day, Next Is Making NCAA History
Excitement is in the air as Caitlin Clark approaches a significant milestone. All eyes are on the Iowa standout as she gets ready to play the Michigan Wolverines; she is only eight points away from breaking Kelsey Plum’s NCAA women’s scoring record.
In the middle of all the excitement, Clark momentarily turned her attention away from the court and onto Valentine’s Day, posting a touching photo of herself and her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, to social media. The Hawkeyes are ready for their Thursday night game against the Wolverines in spite of the distractions.
“I don’t feel that much pressure,” Clark said.
“I feel like, at this point, it’s like ‘when’ it’s going to happen, rather than me chasing it down.
“My main focus is just on winning, having fun, enjoying these environments because it’s so special. I’ve been able to find a lot of calmness and peace in that, and it wasn’t always that way in my career.

“Early on, I would get nervous for these types of games. I feel like my maturity has just grown a lot.”

Clark is under a lot of pressure to beat a record that Kelsey Plum previously held. She did, however, stay focused and motivated to create history following a recent victory over Penn State.
“Eight points is what we’re looking at for this record, and obviously she’s going to just blast it out of the water,” Lisa Bluder, head coach of Iowa, stated.
