Bud Light Releases New Commercial That Has Chiefs Star And Fans Are Very Upset About It
Patrick Mahomes recently defied the NFL’s rules prohibiting its players from endorsing alcoholic beverages by appearing in a humorous Coors Light ad with a bear. Now that Travis Kelce from his team has joined in, the reaction hasn’t been great.
Bud Light New Commercial Stars Chiefs Travis Kelce And Fans Are very Upset About It
On Sunday, the infamous beer company unveiled a new 15-second commercial featuring Kelce grunting with other males while tearing open Bud Light cans.
The advertisement was a blatant marketing U-turn after the brand’s reputation was destroyed by opposition to the company’s prior partnership with trans celebrity Dylan Mulvaney.

Anheuser-Busch, the parent company of Bud Light, has recently aired advertising to reclaim its lost customer base, and the 15-second spot with Kelce and other guys groaning as they open Bud Light cans seems to be the most current.
The March Madness basketball tournament will be promoted by transgender activist and influencer Dylan Mulvaney as company’s spokesman in April. This announcement has resulted in a months-long boycott of the company.
#Chiefs TE Travis Kelce thinks that between 50-80% of players in the NFL use cannabis.
Kelce adds that many players consistently pass drug tests:
“If you just stop in the middle of July, you’re fine,” he says. “A lot of guys stop a week before and they still pass because… pic.twitter.com/oByOwFMSs6

The company’s market worth has decreased by roughly $27 billion since its partnership with Mulvaney, according to a June article in The Post.
Regarding the situation, Bud Light has been quiet in the public eye.
A number of men sit down in their backyards and crack open cans while groaning in the advertisement named “Backyard Grunts,” which was uploaded to YouTube on Sunday.

The star of the advertisement is Kelce, who has been somewhat of a media favorite this offseason.
One reviewer said, “Man, Bud Light is going for the death blow at this point.” “This is what they think of their client base, stupid grunting cavemen.”
“Good another person to boycott.”

Hey, look! ‘Fratty’ and ‘out of touch’ is back in style at Bud Light,” another wrote.
“I don’t understand how this appeals to Bud Light’s target market, transgender youth,” a third comment said.

Travis Kelce seems unconcerned by the battle over Dylan Mulvaney, Anheuser-Busch, and Bud Light. He simply wants to have a beer.
He and his older brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason, have been savoring beer in a variety of ways while training camp is still a ways off.
