Bucs Fans Already Won the Reporter’s Battle With Aileen Hnatiuk By Their Side. Take A Look At Their Joy Over Winning Her

Aileen Hnatiuk, a sports reporter, is gaining popularity once more, much like how she did during the close of the 2022 NFL season.

Hnatiuk shared a picture from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa over the weekend, where she will be covering the Buccaneers as a sports reporter for NBC affiliate WFLA 8. Hnatiuk, who gained notoriety on social media in January after a photo she took outside the Saints’ facility in Louisiana went viral, will be covering the Buccaneers.

“Start firing cannons!” Hnatiuk wrote the description for the photo in which she was posing in a red top and white shorts.

Unsurprisingly, Buccaneers supporters enthusiastically welcomed the newcomer to Tampa Bay in the comments portion of her post.

“I’m Running with Tampa Bay this year,” one fan said.

Another commented, “Can’t wait for reports on my buccaneers.”

Hnatiuk first revealed in June that she would be joining WFLA, saying on X, the website that replaced Twitter, that it was the station she had grown up listening to.“I’ll be covering the Bucs, Lightning, Rays, Rowdies, USF & more. Grateful doesn’t do this feeling justice to be blessed with this opportunity,” She wrote several messages at once.

“THANK YOU. Every viewer, coach, player & staff member…for your time & for accepting this Florida girl. I’ve been blessed to cover & tell the stories of THE BEST athletes & programs in the entire country. I will never take that for granted, ever..”
The news wasn’t well received by Saints supporters, who publicly lamented the passing of one of their favorite sports media figures.

“Come back to Louisiana please,” Someone commented on Hnatiuk’s Instagram post. “Haven’t been this bummed over a Saints free agent loss since Trey,” Another commenter seems to be referring to defensive end Trey Hendrickson’s transfer to the Bengals in 2021.
