Browns Linebacker Tony Fields II Father Falls Down Several Rows Of Seats While Trying To Catch Football During Game vs Texans

The father of Cleveland Browns linebacker Tony Fields II made a show on Sunday against the Houston Texans.

Tony Fields II, a linebacker for the Cleveland Browns, picked off six Houston Texans on Sunday to end the game. He then tried to celebrate by tossing the ball to his father, Tony Fields Sr., but things did not go well for him.

Using KHOU 11 cameras, Fields Sr. dived for the ball that his son had thrown to him in an attempt to catch it, but instead, he fell many rows of seats. Fortunately, Fields Sr. was not seriously hurt, and he afterwards celebrated.

Fields threw the ball to his dad rather than simply any fan. Fields Sr. had no intention of allowing that ball to escape after an interception that was returned for a score.

On Sunday, Fields played a game for the Browns. In the victory over the Texans, he had three tackles, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and an interception. The Fields family now has a memory that will probably endure forever.

Fields II, a West Virginian, has one forced fumble, one pass breakup, and 15 total tackles to go along with his pick-six in 2022.

The Browns have now won two straight games and are now two games behind the New York Jets (7-5) for the last AFC Wild Card slot, but they still need to pass the 5-7 Raiders, 6-6 Patriots, and 6-6 Chargers to make the playoffs.

Cleveland’s next five games aren’t exactly kind to them either. Before coming home to play the AFC North-leading Baltimore Ravens in Week 15, they must travel to Joe Burrow and the advancing Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday.
