Russell Wilson, the quarterback for the Denver Broncos, has significantly changed physically over the previous campaign.

Wilson experienced “significant” weight loss throughout the offseason, according to Schultz. Last month, Wilson acknowledged his own metamorphosis, calling himself “lean and mean” and said he was ready for the new season.

Recent criticism of Russell from Seattle Seahawks family members includes an unexpected statement from 2022 rookie defender Tariq Woolen. After competing against the now-Denver Broncos cornerback, Woolen compared the quarterback’s build to “a sack of potatoes.”

at place of the private office he formerly had at the team facilities, Wilson has changed his strategy. He also seemed to change how his physique looked because he showed up in excellent shape to OTAs.

In front of the media on Thursday, Russell claimed to have shed weight and was in excellent health in preparation for the 2023 season.

He seems determined to playing!

Wilson, though, did admit that he had shed pounds over the winter, describing himself as “lean and mean — ready to go.”

“You always want to be in the best shape of your life,” Wilson said. “I’m ready for that. I feel better than ever.”

Russell and the Broncos struck a deal a year ago that gave Seattle a ton of draft selections in exchange for Wilson, who also received a huge contract for $245 million over five years from the Broncos.
