Brock Purdy Spends Quality Time With Fiancé, Farming In The Countryside
During his week off, quarterback Brock Purdy of the San Francisco 49ers used the opportunity to spend time with his family and learn about his fiancée’s family company. In a video that Brandt shared on Instagram, Purdy—who proposed to his long-term girlfriend Jenna Brandt in July—was seen using a combine harvester on an Iowa farm.
Brock Purdy Spends Quality Time With Fiancé, Farming In The Countryside
Sumner native Brandt played volleyball for Iowa State and Northern Iowa. After leading the 49ers to the NFC Championship Game the previous season, Purdy has become a celebrity in the NFL.
Purdy was shown taking directions from his future bride while harvesting wheat and grain in the video, which was captioned “Wrapping up harvest ’23” with a heart emoji. Although maize is the state’s most popular crop, this specific farming operation appeared to be concentrated on harvesting wheat and grain.

It’s doubtful that Brock, who attended high school and grew up in Arizona, has a lot of farming experience. He did, nevertheless, appear excited to pick up and embrace his fiancée’s family trade. In Purdy’s hometown, there are a few ranches, but they mostly cultivate cattle instead of crops.
When both Purdy and Brandt were Iowa State students, they initially ran across each other. As the team’s quarterback, Purdy had a stellar career, breaking 32 school records including earning three-time all-Big 12 honors. He is now enjoying success in the NFL as a member of the San Francisco 49ers.

Growing up and attending high school in Arizona, some forty miles from Phoenix, Purdy appeared to be learning from his future bride while he gathered grain, threshed, and reaped on the Iowa farm.
Although maize is the most widely produced crop in the Hawkeye State, this seems to be more about harvesting wheat and grain in Iowa.
The internet was impressed by Brock Purdy doing a little farming during the bye week, but was it all just for show?
Buckle up because @dhookstead is here to set the facts straight when it comes to farming and ranching, and just doing it for clout!

The 49ers, who are 5-3, visit Jacksonville the next week. The 49ers, who were viewed as nearly unbeatable only a few weeks ago, have now lost three consecutive after falling to the Cincinnati Bengals 31–17 last Sunday.
Purdy completed 22 of 31 passes for 365 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in a respectable day. Besides being San Francisco’s top rusher, the former Cyclone had six carries for 57 yards. And earlier in the week, after completing concussion protocol, all of that took place.
