“Bro, Why Are You Thinking MVP”- Rob Gronkowski Slams Aaron Rodgers for His Recent Ambitions
Aaron Rodgers has been in the NFL for close to two decades now, in that time, the 38-year-old has established himself as one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. Thus far, Rodgers has four league MVP titles to his name along with a single Super Bowl title. Unfortunately for Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, the relationship has soured over the past few years.
The 38-year-old has on multiple occasions bashed the team for not showing a winning mentality by bolstering the squad with quality players. Rodgers on the other hand has left the club in limbo multiple times regarding his future. Most recently, in 2022, Aaron Rodgers signed a three-year extension with the Packers worth a whopping $150 million.

In a recent interview with Pat McAfee, Aaron Rodgers made his ambitions in the NFL very clear. He stated that he could win another MVP trophy under the right situations, with no mention of a Super Bowl title. In his words, “Do I still think I can play? Of course. Can I play at a high level? Yeah, the highest. I think I can win MVP again in the right situation.”

Obviously, such a statement has not sat well with fans. For a while now Aaron Rodgers has prioritized his own success over that of the team. While that may have been something fans tolerated in the past, it is now getting to a point where fans just can not take it anymore.

Four-time Super Bowl-winning tight end Rob Gronkowski recently shared his thoughts on Rodgers statement. He said, “I’m totally fine with everything he said, except one major part, and that’s the MVP again. [Say], ‘I think I could win another Super Bowl,’ and then that would be totally fine. Like, bro, why are you thinking MVP? Don’t you want Super Bowls? Super Bowls I think are five times greater than an MVP.”
