Brittany Mahomes, a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, manages to generate headlines even when her NFL player husband is sitting on the sideline.
The mother-of-two watched the Chiefs play the Los Angeles Chargers in a close 13–12 victory from the stands at SoFi Stadium.
And because she was dressed differently than she might often wear, her choice of clothing incited controversy among fans.
Andy Reid rested his key players before the playoffs, knowing that the Chiefs would make the postseason regardless of whether Mahomes or Travis Kelce were selected to play.
Her attire was not at all outlandish. On the contrary, Brittany wore a black jacket that was too big to hide her white crop top.
‘The golden light’ was the message she posted on Instagram Stories when she donned black heels and high-waisted, flared black pants.

Brittany was able to shine in the LA sunshine on Sunday afternoon, although Swift was only a few miles away at the Golden Globes. It was evident that she wasn’t too worn out from the previous night.
She was observed on Saturday going out in the city with Swift and Lindsay Bell, the spouse of Chiefs tight end Blake Bell, a fellow NFL wife.
