Brittany Mahomes’ Shares 1st Message After Being Named 2024 SI Swim Rookie; Patrick Mahomes Reacts
Being really herself is nothing to be ashamed of for Brittany Mahomes, and she’s pushing other people to follow suit.
The wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who was announced as a 2024 SI Swim rookie on Thursday, reshared a seductive photo from her shoot with the magazine Sports Illustrated Swimsuit along with the caption:
“I’m here to tell you people will dislike you, people will love you don’t let any of that define you KEEP SHINING and being YOU.”
In an interview with the magazine, Brittany talked about maintaining her identity in the face of media attention and NFL supporters.
“Be confident in who you are and be unapologetically yourself,” she said. “People are going to love you or hate you, but finding your values and what makes you ‘you’ to be the best version of yourself is what really matters.

“Whether that’s health and wellness, being a great wife or mom, or career goals, being the best version of you is the most important thing you can be.”
Mahomes’ mother Randi retweeted a behind-the-scenes video clip that Brittany had posted, hinting at her photo shoot with SI Swim, to her Instagram Story.
“Yes that’s my in-law’s daughter!” The mom wrote, proud. “You are rocking it Brit As always!! @brittanylynne Love you.”
When the Chiefs play the 49ers on Sunday at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Mahomes—who is competing for his third Super Bowl ring—also reposted Brittany’s video along with three heart-eye emojis.
SI Swimsuit announced on Thursday that Brittany will be included in the 60th-anniversary issue of the magazine.

During the 2024 SI Swim rookie campaign, the mother of two posed for several gorgeous ensembles, one of which was a sultry red swimsuit by Mugler, amid the white sand beaches of northern Belize.
Patrick “Bronze” Lavon, 1, and Brittany, the two-time Super Bowl champion, have a daughter, Sterling Skye, 2, and a son, Patrick Skye, 1.
