Brittany Mahomes Is Furious Watching Husband Patrick Receive A crushing tackle
Brittany Mahomes, Patrick Mahomes’ wife, live tweets each Kansas City Chiefs game. Whether she is in attendance at the game or is watching from home, it has now become a routine. On Sunday afternoon, she wasn’t happy with the officials when the Chiefs played the one-win Houston Texans.
There was no call for roughing the passer when the Texans’ Maliek Collins Sr. tackled the player hard. This season, calls for roughing the passer have received a lot of attention as fans, athletes, and commentators disputed whether some penalties were actually necessary.
Im confused, we are allowed to tackle quarterbacks like that now? Got it. The inconsistency is BS

Brittany Mahomes Is Furious Watching Husband Patrick Receive A crushing tackle
Brittany Mahomes disapproves of how inconsistent the NFL officials are. On Sunday, she vented her annoyance on Twitter when her quarterback husband was shaken while taking a sack.
Kansas City took possession of the ball at their own 31-yard line early in the second quarter. On 2nd-and-4, Patrick Mahomes signalled for the snap. It was small.
I’m tired of the dirty hits

He had to reach down and go collect the ball because it entered below the waist. Patrick should have been able to recover even if the centre was undoubtedly the target of the low snap. He has done so numerous times.
In this instance, that was not the case. He couldn’t hold on, the ball hit the turf, and he was swallowed up while trying to make something positive out of the broken play.
I wouldn't trade Patrick Mahomes for the world! I am so happy he is my QB. His leadership and humility separates him from anyone else in the league.❤️pic.twitter.com/YcYZrbWu23

Right side Maliek Collins charged in, caught the quarterback, and hurled him to the ground. Patrick immediately flung his hands in the air as he hit the ground and questioned why there was no flag.
The tackle wasn’t particularly bad, despite the fact that his question wasn’t unjustified given the prevalence of penalties for roughing the quarterback in 2022. Although harsh, it wasn’t overly bizarre.
Andy Reid on Patrick Mahomes: "You're talking about a guy that, if he's not the MVP of the league, I'm not sure what's wrong with it. But he cleaned it up and we have almost 500 yards of offense." #Chiefs pic.twitter.com/ipV56nvVCf

Brittany Mahomes considered this to be roughing the passer in this instance. She expressed her confusion about the decision to allow this as a hit on the quarterback tweet. She continued by expressing her anger at the calls’ inconsistent quality.
“I’m confused, we are allowed to tackle quarterbacks like that now? Got it. The inconsistency is BS”
She expressed her displeasure that the Texans were not punished for the hit on Mahomes before adding another comment. She quote-retweeted a post saying that Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was getting mad and that it’s fun to watch when he gets mad. Brittany replied by stating that “15” is going to get mad too and that would be even more fun to watch.
IMO, Patrick Mahomes should be the MVP favorite after today. He was utterly brilliant.
Only five incompletions on 41 attempts, no turnovers and 3 TDs. Without a flawless showing, the Chiefs sustain a horrific loss

This demonstrates the variable officiating in the NFL this season. The league has stated that these issues will be dealt with during the offseason. Teams and their supporters will need to wait until then and hope that the calls won’t lose them a crucial game.
