Brazilian UFC Star Alex Pereira Admits Dumping Fiance Due to Her Marriage

UFC champion Alex Pereira and his ex-fiance Merle Christine did not have a happy ending.

Pereira said that he pulled her out of his life after learning that she was married. Pereira and the MMA content creator apparently separated up last year.

“It’s a little hard to talk about this because, for me, I already deleted this person from my life,” In the most recent edition of the podcast “Full Send MMA,” he remarked. “I would also like to ask my fans to also delete her from your life.

“It was a person I believed, I put her in my house, together with my family. After all I found out, she was married.”

The host of the mixed martial arts podcast “Fightology,” Christine, commented on Pereira’s assertions, finding them humorous.

Her post included a series of laughing and sobbing emojis. “Lol hurt man inventing whatever,” she wrote.

“How can I be married and moving to the states lol.”

This Friday, the entire interview with Pereira will be made available on the Full Send MMA YouTube channel.

Screenshots of purported text exchanges between Pereira and his ex were shared on Friday on his Instagram Story.

“Well guys, Merle thinks she’ll be able to manipulate you,” Google Translate indicates that he wrote in Portuguese over the pictures. “I’ve been talking to her ex-husband for a few days and today I know what she’s capable of.

“This is a love conversation with two different people on the same day and at the same time. She attacked me thinking I was going to fight back. But I’m not crazy about doing that!

“I have video of her attacking me. Since she didn’t get what she wanted, she’s trying to use my name.”

From his social media profiles, Pereira seems to have removed any evidence of their relationship.

As of Friday, 19,800 people follow Christine on Instagram, but the account is private.

Christine apparently addressed unfounded claims in a social media post at the time of their breakup last year.

“It seems like all these comments and rumors are not stopping, so I think it’s important to make a little statement,” The Mirror quoted her writing. “Sometimes in life, a relationship doesn’t work, and people decide to take two different ways.

“And I think it’s something everybody has to respect, and it doesn’t mean that there is bad blood between these two people … I wish Alex all the best and a lot of success in his career.”

When Pereira defeated Jiri Prochazka in New York in November to earn the light-heavyweight title, Christine apparently saw the victory.

The date of Pereira’s upcoming bout is unknown.
