Brandon Ingram– Net Worth, Draft, Wingspan, Rings and More – Top Five Things You Did Not Know About

To say that Brandon Ingram had a successful career in high school would be putting it lightly. The North Carolina native won state titles each of his four years of high school and was named North Carolina’s Mr. Basketball. For Ingram, a lot of his talents were developed at a very early age thanks to the influence his father as well as his elder brother had on him. His father, Donald, played basketball semi-professionally and played pickup games with Kinston native Jerry Stackhouse regularly.

Brandon Ingram’s elder brother Donovan spent weekends with Brandon, where he taught his younger brother to play basketball. Before he was even a teenager, Brandon used to play basketball with his elder brother’s friends. The 25-year-old has often described in interviews how this experience shaped him into the player that is today.

Given his accomplishments in high school, it was only natural that he would receive numerous offers given he was a consensus five-star recruit as well. Ingram eventually chose to play for Duke, where he played for a season before declaring for the NBA draft of 2016. In 36 games for Duke in 2015–16, Ingram averaged 17.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 34.6 minutes per game.
