Body Camera Footage Shows A Woman Intoxicated At Valeri Nichushkin’s Hotel Room

According to Seattle police reports, a very inebriated lady was taken to the hospital after being discovered in Colorado Avalanche player Valeri Nichushkin’s hotel room before the team’s first-round playoff matchup with the Seattle Kraken.

According to a report from the Seattle Police Department that KDVR was able to receive, team members found the 28-year-old woman on April 22 at the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Seattle while checking on Nichushkin.

Prior to Game 3 on April 22, when the Avalanche were staying at the Four Seasons Hotel in Seattle, police responded to a crisis call and arrived on the scene.

The Colorado Avalanche team doctor Bradley Changstrom told officer Joshua Knight in body-camera footage that the team tried to remove a woman from forward Valeri Nichushkin’s hotel room but couldn’t because of her intoxication. The Seattle Police Department released the body-camera footage in response to a public disclosure request made by The Seattle Times.

Just before 3:30 p.m., a team doctor dialed 911, and the lady was taken to the hospital when it was determined that she was too drunk to go on her own. According to reports, the doctor revealed to the police that the woman had hit him, but he chose not to report it.

This happened when team members allegedly found a drunk lady in Nichushkin’s room.

Police body cam film from an April altercation between a drunk lady and Avalanche forward Valeri Nichushkin was obtained by The Seattle Times.

When asked about rumors of the lady striking at people, Changstrom said in the recently released video that she hit him on the arm, but he chose not to file charges. In the hotel room, Changstrom and Avalanche security guard Todd Fuller attempted to dress the woman, but were subsequently hit in the arm. They also claimed that she was unable to locate her credit card.

The woman, who presented herself as Ukrainian but stated that she was born in Russia, according to The Seattle Times. She claimed to the authorities that she “should never have come to the United States and that some guy took her passport and that he was a bad person.”

Based on the account, it wasn’t immediately apparent if she  was intoxicated with drugs or alcohol, the Times reported.
