Bills’ Stefon Diggs Receives a $10,609 Fine From the NFL for Taunting Jalen Ramsey in Their Opening Day Win Against the Rams
In the opening week of the 2022 NFL season, The Buffalo Bills took on the Los Angeles Rams. The Bills are the current favorites to win the Super Bowl this year, whereas the Rams are the defending champions. On paper, it promised to be an extremely interesting and close game, but in reality, it was far from it. The likes of Stefon Diggs, Josh Allen and others put on a masterclass as they hammered the defending champions 31-10. With the win, there were a few personal rivalries that were also settled.
Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey infamously shared his opinions on Josh Allen when the Buffalo Bills drafted him 7th overall in the 2018 draft. Ramsey said, “I think [Josh] Allen is trash. I don’t care what nobody say. He’s trash. And it’s gonna show too. That’s a stupid draft pick to me.”
Stefon Diggs fined for his actions
These comments have come back to haunt Ramsey as he and his team were torched by Allen and the Bills as the former Wyoming man put on a masterclass. Allen was 26-for-31 for 297 yards, three touchdowns, and a pair of interceptions in the 31–10 win, adding 56 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground. In one of the plays of the game, Allen lofted a long pass that was aimed at Diggs, who was running with Ramsey alongside him. Ultimately, it was Diggs who secured the ball and tumbled into the end zone, completing a touchdown.

After that, he proceeded to mock Ramsey, presumably for the comments he made against his good friend and quarterback Allen. This has come at a cost for Stefon Diggs, who has now been fined $10,609 for his actions. It will be safe to say that Diggs will not mind paying that one bit as he got his sweet revenge.

Stefon Diggs himself had a great game against the Rams. He finished the game with eight receptions for 122 yards and one touchdown. Next up for Josh Allen and his men are the Titans on Monday and they are heavy favorites to win the game and make it a perfect 2-0 start to their 2022 season.
