Bennie Fowler Believes Giants QB Daniel Jones Has All the Qualities of Tom Brady and Peyton Manning
Bennie Fowler, a former wide receiver for the New York Giants, is fully aware of the requirements for success in the NFL. In 2014, the Denver Broncos signed him as an undrafted free agent to a one-year, $114,000 deal after he played college football for Michigan State. He has played alongside some of the top players, such as Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.
He stayed in Denver for three seasons before moving to New York for two. He briefly played for other teams, giving him the experience with a number of competent quarterbacks, including Peyton and Eli Manning.
Fowler gave some glowing remarks about Daniel Jones, the current quarterback for the Giants. He claimed that Daniel Jones has all of Peyton Manning and Tom Brady’s strengths.

“D.J. has all the qualities of the QBs I just talked about, except he can run & he’s more athletic than all of them. This is gonna be a year for him to break out.”

The Giants picked Daniel Jones, a Duke football player, with the sixth overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. Although it’s not all on him, Jones still has a lot to show because his previous few seasons have been below average.

Am I missing something here???— NFL Rumors (@nflrums) September 4, 2022
Jones lost 20 of his 36 fumbles during his three seasons wearing blue. He has thrown 44 touchdowns and 29 interceptions. Those ratios don’t seem good. Additionally, he has had 105 sacks for a total of 741 yards, and his average QBR is 84. Again, he isn’t exclusively responsible for all of that, but he does contribute.
