Bengal Fan Mocks NFL & Goodell With Coin Toss During NFL Draft 2023
Before choosing Cincinnati in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft, a Bengals superfan hilariously made fun of Roger Goodell and the NFL.

The Bengals fan of the year, Phil Amrein, reached into his pocket, feigned to take out a coin, flip it in the air, and then said confidently, “It’s heads. AFC pack your bags, you’re coming to the ‘City by the River.’ Who dey!”
For those who need a reminder, there was a situation where, had a certain chain of circumstances occurred, the Bengals and Ravens’ home-field playoff advantage would have been decided by a coin flip. The AFC Championship will be held in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 2024 despite the fact that those events did not occur.

The coin flip drew a lot of criticism from both the Bengals and the Ravens, and Cincinnati running back Joe Mixon received a fine for celebrating the coin flip during the Bengals’ first-round matchup with the Ravens.
The Bengals chose Charlie Jones, a wide receiver from Purdue, with their choice.

Like all Bengals supporters, Armien was aware that the AFC title would be decided by a coin toss after only 16 of the 17 games between the Bengals and Bills had been completed due to Damar Hamlin’s collapse and near-death experience in their meeting.
The NFL stated that even if the Bengals won the AFC North, home-field advantage in the Wild Card round might be determined by a coin flip rather than by making up the game.

Fortunately for the Bengals, they prevailed over the Ravens in 18 games, preventing it from happening.
The Bengals were incensed at Goodell’s asinine declaration at the time. Eli Apple made fun of Goodell by using a coin. And now Bengals supporter Phil Armien is making sure that Goodell is reminded of what he actually thought about doing.
