Beef Between Steve Nash & Kyrie Irving Is Pretty Loud & Clear

There seems to be tension between Kyrie Irving and Steve Nash. The two-time MVP and former head coach of the Brooklyn Nets departed from the organisation last month. He left as this season’s record stood at 2-5. The triple threat of Ben Simmons, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving for the Nets raised a lot of eyebrows in the league.

Beef Between Steve Nash & Kyrie Irving Is Pretty Loud & Clear

Steve Nash continued to serve as the Brooklyn Nets head coach throughout their contest against the Indiana Pacers. There had been no suspension for Kyrie Irving. It was claimed that Nash had yelled out different plays ten times during the game. Kyrie Irving evidently planned to do something different each time.

According to a person familiar with the circumstances, Nash was “officially the coach,” but the Nets “did whatever they wanted” regardless of the game plan he provided them.

Irving wasn’t the only one at fault. There were other instances of busted coverages, as when Ben Simmons let a screener get to the basket in the mistaken belief that Royce O’Neale would grab him. After a successful shot, Kevin Durant was arguing with Joe Harris because he thought a pass ought to have gone his way. There are numerous instances of chaos.

Another scout said, “They were the most dysfunctional squad I’ve seen [in years].”

Sean Marks, general manager of the Nets, repeated the same ideas. The crew “was not doing what it was supposed to be doing,” according to Marks. They were not adhering to the game plans and most definitely not Steve Nash, the head coach.

Ime Udoka, the head coach of the Boston Celtics, who is also currently on suspension, has reportedly emerged as the front-runner for the position. The owner of the Nets, Joe Tsai, is reportedly being pushed not to hire Udoka as his new head coach, according to reports.

Kyrie Irving embarrassed Steve Nash in numerous ways. He held the position of head coach for 26 months. But Irving said that the Nets lacked a real coach within his first month on the job. Additionally, he claimed that leadership was lacking.

On “The ETC Podcast,” Irving maintained that he or KD could serve as a head coach. Durant concurred with Irving’s assertions and claimed it was a team effort.
