Baltimore Ravens Star Blames Loss on Sister After Tweet Aimed At Game-Winning Star Sam Hubbard
The Baltimore Ravens took on arch-rivals Cincinnati Bengals in the wild-card round of the NFL 2022 playoffs. The game was extremely competitive and victory was within reach for either team until defensive end Sam Hubbard became a hero when he took a fumble 98 yards back to the house for what became the game-winning score.

The Sam Hubbard touchdown was the difference in the end as the Bengals walked away with the win in a game that ended 24-17. While most Ravens players have pinned the loss on horrible playcalling and the absence of Lamar Jackson, Marlon Humphrey pinned the blame on his sister after her tweet aimed toward Sam Hubbard.

After the game, Humphrey’s sister Brenona, replied to the clip of Hubbard’s 98-yard touchdown saying, “Wow, Sam Hubbard kinda fine…”. To which the Ravens star replied, “See this why we lost right here. It be your own flesh and blood I want emancipation.”

For the Baltimore Ravens, a lot of the media attention this season surrounding them was regarding Lamar Jackson and his future. They ended the season with a 10-7 record and showed flashes of brilliance at times. However, for the most part, the team desperately needed strengthening in a lot of areas.

For the Baltimore Ravens, the options with Lamar Jackson are pretty straightforward, Ravens will have to decide among the various options — exclusive franchise tag (which could be as much as $45 million for one year), non-exclusive franchise tag (which could be in the range of $32 million for one year), or transition tag (roughly $30 million).

The main point of contention between the two parties is that Jackson has demanded a five-year contract with guarantees on salary, whereas the Baltimore Ravens do not want to offer such a contract given how injury prone he is.
