Undoubtedly, James’s aforementioned intensity benefits the younger players in his vicinity, like as Reaves, who has matured and distinguished himself with the Lakers.

This season, LeBron has scored 30 points in five different games. This was his fourth 30-point game in the previous six games.

Not surprisingly, James’s on-field exploits became a topic of conversation following the game. Austin Reaves talked about his teammate, or more precisely, what makes him unique, at the press conference held after the game.

LeBron James keeps his bad days hidden from his teammates if he ever experiences them.

“The one special thing about Bron is, I’ve never really seen him in a bad mood,” Lakers guard Austin Reaves told reporters Sunday. “He’s always got energy. He’s the oldest player in the NBA but still acts like he’s 20 every day.”

“I think he plays the game the same way regardless of who we’re playing. Like we said, anytime ‘Bron’ has something that pushes him a little bit further you see the results just like you did tonight, like last year in the playoffs. He just did more after all that stuff started happening,” concluded Reaves.

In Sunday’s victory over the Houston Rockets, James had a career-high 37 points, six rebounds, and eight assists, extending a remarkable run of performance for a guy getting close to 39 years old. This season, the future Hall of Famer is shooting a career-high 58.6 percent from the field and averaging 26.4 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 6.5 assists.

Reaves is averaging 13.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game for Los Angeles thus far this season.
