Ashley, the wife of Carlos Rodon, passed the statement amid the blowing kiss incident and said, “he’s ass he’ll own it.”
The wife of Carlos Rodon is aware of the criticism and now she is on a mission to clear things up.
The Yankees pitcher’s wife, Ashley Rodon, commented on the kiss-blowing incident that occurred during Wednesday’s 7-3 loss to the Angels.
The day after Rodon gave disgruntled fans a sarcastic kiss, Ashley tweeted, “The days he’s ass he’ll own it and get ready for the next one.”

“Always has. It’s struggle bus right now for fans. I know it’s not personal, fans love the team. I can ride with that. Even if they are being a–holes when they’re pissed off about the results. I get it.”

When Rodon blew the kiss after the second inning and left the mound, the Yankees were down 4-0.
By the time the lefty was removed, the score was 6-0.
“I guess it was the best reaction I could give, but better not to give a reaction I guess,” Carlos passed the statement to the reporter after the game.

“Just one of those things I was frustrated and better to blow a kiss or not do anything at all. It was just a frustrating outing, that’s for sure. And I showed it there in the second early.”
In an effort to control his team’s emotions after losing nine of its previous 11 games, manager Aaron Boone was not a fan of the kiss.

“I would like him not to do that,” Boone said. “It’s not the reaction you want and we’ve talked about it. When you’re in the arena and you’re going through it, sometimes you do things you don’t necessarily want to engage in.”
After starting the season on the IL, Rodon has struggled in his first three outings with the Yankees, going 0-3 with a 7.36 ERA.
Due to a forearm strain and back tightness, the left-hander, who inked a six-year, $162 million contract this winter, missed the first half of the season.
