Are Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers still in the Playoff hunt for the 2022-23 NFL season
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will face the Carolina Panthers in Week 17 of the 2022-23 NFL season. Tom Brady and co. will have the chance to seal their spot in the playoffs and the NFC South division as well if they get the win over the Panthers on Sunday.
However, if the Bucs lose against the Panthers and Carolina wins their final game of the regular season, Tampa Bay will be eliminated from playoff contention. This would also mean that the Panthers will qualify for the playoffs.
How have the Tampa Bay Buccaneers fared so far?
Although Tampa Bay is at the summit of its divisional standings, they have not had the best of campaigns this term. The Buccaneers have managed seven wins and eight losses so far. They have the least PF in their division, as well and Tom Brady hasn’t managed to rack up touchdowns regularly this season.
On his "Let's Go" podcast, Tom Brady just said this about next Monday's playoff game: "I believe we're going to be as healthy as we've been all year." #Bucs

It appears as if age is finally catching up with the quarterback. However, Brady has still put up 4,178 passing yards with 21 touchdowns. He has thrown nine interceptions as well and has a passer rating of just under 88.

But Todd Bowles’ side has managed to keep a strong defense this season. They have allowed only 304 PA and their solid backline has helped them keep their place at the top of the NFC South.
This weekend’s matchup between the Bucs and Panthers promises to be an interesting one. With two teams that can still qualify for the postseason, they will give it their all on Sunday. Whoever comes out on top will have the advantage in reaching the playoffs.
