Jordan was predicted by NFL draft analysts and scouts to be selected in the first round at the completion of the pre-draft process. DraftScout.com and Sports Illustrated listed him as the second-best defensive end prospect in the draft, and NFL pundits Gil Brandt and Brian Billick ranked him as the third-best defensive end in the draft.
