Antonio Brown Takes A Shot At Steelers’ OC Matt Canada Over His Play Calling
The Pittsburgh Steelers have every chance to win big in their Week 4 clash against the Houston Texans in 2023. Not only did that not occur, but the Steeler’s offence was as poor as it has ever been under Matt Canada, and any leftover patience was consumed by the Texas heat. Antonio Brown saw and didn’t hold back from criticising the OC.
Antonio Brown Takes A Shot At Steelers’ OC Matt Canada Over His Play Calling
Antonio Brown, in particular, took notice of the primary school level of plays that Canada was calling. It didn’t take long for Brown to turn to social media, and it quickly devolved into a roast of the coordinator, as only Brown could do.
Most Steeler fans haven’t liked what they’ve seen from offensive coordinator Matt Canada this season, and on Sunday, Antonio Brown added to the vitriol by tweeting his displeasure with the Pittsburgh play-caller.

Brown expressed his thoughts on the Steelers’ offensive coordinator midway through the first half of their game against the Houston Texans:
“Matt Canada is a horrific combination of being not only the worst but also the most predictable play-caller in the NFL.”
It was pushed to a new level when Eric Ebron joined the “Fire Matt Canada” campaign.

The Steelers averaged 18.7 points per game during the first three games of the season, placing them 22nd in the NFL. For the most part, with a young quarterback like Pickett, things should start to improve in his second year.
It’s one thing for fans to vent on social media about their clubs, but when an active NFL player acknowledges a coach’s ineptitude, it sticks out.

Ebron may not have wanted to say it, but there’s nothing more public than referencing a contentious player like Brown and putting your viewpoint on display for all to see.
Brown uploaded a photo of the Pittsburgh coordinator with a drawn-on Hitler moustache after putting his name out there to potentially replace Canada due to the Steelers offence’s dismal start to the season.

To avoid any misunderstanding, AB added some information by tweeting: “Adolf Canada.”
The former NFL wideout’s posts equating the Steelers’ head coach to one of history’s most terrible villains are undoubtedly weird. Regardless, Canada assisted the Steelers to their first win of the season on Sunday, a 23-18 victory over the Raiders.

Brown had 837 catches and 11,207 receiving yards with the Steelers from 2010 to 2018. His statistics rank him second in team history, trailing only great wideout Hines Ward.
