Angel Reese’s Absence During LSU’s Basketball Match Raised Alto Of Questions. Know The Details

In Louisiana State University’s most recent NCAA women’s basketball game on November 17, their star player, Angel Reese was not present. Her coach declined to provide an explanation for her absence, and she did not even come off the bench.

People could not help but notice her absence from the team, and the vacant position on the bench made a loud statement. This comes three days after her coach, Kim Mulkey, benched her during the second half of a victory over Kent State and refused to give an explanation.

“Angel was not in uniform,” Mulkey remarked following the LSU match. “Angel is a part of this basketball team, and we hope she’s back with the team soon. I’m not going to answer any more than that.”

In an attempt to hold onto her title of NCAA “Most Outstanding Player,” the LSU 10 has put up impressive numbers in the 2023–2024 season thus far, averaging 17 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in an average of 22 minutes. However, she is currently unable to play due to an undisclosed reason.

The parents of the young athletes are embroiled in a power struggle for her place on the squad as a result of the vacancy.

It appeared as though Reese’s mother, Angel Webb Reese, called out Flau’jae Johnson’s mother, Kia Brooks.

“Folks pls do not sent me long text msgs with a bunch of grammatical errors,” Angel shared on Instagram. “It gives me a headache [facepalm emoji] how do I know you said what you said if I can’t understand what you’re saying [facepalm emoji] [cry-laughing emoji]”.

Johnson went on to say that Angel Reese’s mother is “petty, fake, and hateful” and that Angel has a low GPA.

A strange chain of events has occurred, and it will be interesting to watch how the team and families are affected in the long run.
