Angel Reese Is Again In The News After All The LSU Drama. Know The Details
Because of something she accomplished on the practice floor during this difficult time for LSU, Angel Reese has been able to make headlines.
She appears to have been on the court on Saturday, but she was not present when they played Southeastern Louisiana on Friday night.
On her Instagram story, she shared a photo of what appeared to be an abandoned LSU practice court with a basketball cart inside.
The 21-year-old gained notoriety the previous season after leading LSU to a national championship victory over Iowa and standout player Caitlin Clark.
However, things have not gone well for LSU this season. Although they do have a 5-1 record, everything they do is constantly under investigation.
Tuesday’s game against Kent State saw Reese benched in the second half due to a “coach’s decision,” and on Friday night, the team easily defeated Southeastern Louisiana 73-50 without him wearing a uniform.

This was brought up in a recent press conference with head coach Kim Mulkey.
“You want me to explain why? It’s very obvious Angel was not in uniform,” Mulkey stated to reporters following the game on Friday night. “Angel is a part of this basketball team and we hope to see her sooner than later.”
Speaking on the circumstances on X, former Reese colleague Alexis Morris said: “I never ever ever wanted to be at odds, or cared about likes, media, nil none of those things,” Morris on Saturday wrote this statement.
