Angel Reese Finally Spoke About Her LSU’s Controversy: Please Don’t Believe Everything You Read

A well-known player in women’s collegiate basketball, Angel Reese, spoke out against her recent benching and absence from the LSU squad on social media.

She cautioned people not to accept everything they read in a quick post on X in the wake of rumors regarding a purported LSU ban.

“please don’t believe everything you read,” Reese wrote.

No precise details regarding her circumstance

Reese didn’t play in the next game against Southeastern Louisiana and was benched during LSU’s matchup with Kent State, which set off the tale.

She finished the game without scoring in the latter two quarters, as the coach decided, even though she scored 11 points in 13 minutes against Kent State.

A picture of an LSU court with a cart full of basketballs appeared on her Instagram story, adding to the intrigue, albeit it wasn’t clear what it meant. Reese’s failure to accompany the squad to their subsequent game intensified the problem.

“You want me to explain why? It’s very obvious Angel was not in uniform,” Mulkey said.

“Angel is a part of this basketball team and we hope to see her sooner than later.”

As of right now, Reese is valued at $1.7 million and is placed seventh on On3.com’s NIL 100. It is unclear how well he will play versus Texas Southern. Uncertainty confronts the LSU team, the national champions from the previous campaign
