A well-known player in women’s collegiate basketball, Angel Reese, spoke out against her recent benching and absence from the LSU squad on social media.
She cautioned people not to accept everything they read in a quick post on X in the wake of rumors regarding a purported LSU ban.

Reese didn’t play in the next game against Southeastern Louisiana and was benched during LSU’s matchup with Kent State, which set off the tale.
She finished the game without scoring in the latter two quarters, as the coach decided, even though she scored 11 points in 13 minutes against Kent State.
