Angel Reese Finally Made Her Comeback Even After Coach Kim Mulkey’s Unusual Behaviour

Angel Reese is back. Kim Mulkey, the coach of the LSU women’s basketball team, has a difficult matchup with Virginia Tech, a team they defeated in the Final Four the previous year.

Mulkey is on the cusp of being the fastest coach in NCAA history—male or female—to reach the 700th career coaching victory mark.

She has, however, been the target of questioning and attention from the media about Angel Reese, a junior forward whose four-game ban was recently removed.

“I’ve been blessed,” On Wednesday, Mulkey said this.

“I’ve been blessed to coach great players. I’m so grateful that I was talked into getting into this business. It has the highest of highs, the lowest of lows.

“But it is a wonderful, wonderful profession … until I have to deal with y’all. No, that’s a joke. I don’t mind dealing with you.

“I’m waiting for y’all to get past [the Reese drama]. We’re past it. We were past it after it happened. Really.

“It’s just fun to watch them high five and pick each other up off the floor and do what they do – play basketball. We’ve been past it. It’s just we have to come in here and answer questions. And that become aggravating.”

Displeased with the Reese media circus

Mulkey responded to inquiries concerning Reese’s involvement in team practices prior to the forthcoming game by saying that the player is a member of the group and that she will return to the field as soon as possible.

“Angel is available to play tomorrow,” she noted.
