Among The 7 SI Swimsuit Rookies, Broncos’ Cheerleader Berkleigh Wright Made A Spot

Congratulations Berkleigh Wright, you made it.

This year, Denver is not experiencing a great deal of success. Following their opening six games of the season, the Broncos are 1-5 and in the bottom half of the AFC standings.

On Friday, the stunning Denver’s cheerleader Berkleigh Wright’s victory brought about a shift in that. For the 60th issue of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, to be published in 2024, the 29-year-old cheerleader, who is in her fifth season with the Broncos, has been named a rookie.

In actuality, though, it’s a tie. All seven of the finalists for the 2023 Swim Search were named rookies this year, for whatever reason.

Jena Sims believed she had won when she was declared a rookie. I assumed SI Swimsuit had pulled off the co-winner trick once more when I noticed that Instagram sensation Penny Lane had also won a position.

They really had. All of the finalists this year were rookies, as opposed to calculating the votes and selecting a winner. During a video conference with the finalists, the announcement was given in a group.

SI Swimwear revealed, “Congratulations to these 7 fierce, strong, beautiful women! We can’t wait to see you all shine as 2024 Rookies.”

Berkleigh responded to the news by saying, “I’m not crying you’re crying. Will never be able to thank you all enough for this opportunity!!”

It may make me seem archaic, but I enjoy competitions with a winner. But having said that, I will not be making a formal complaint or asking for the vote counts to be made public.

Can the professional boost that comes with being selected for the SI Swimsuit edition be diminished by owning all seven? Pretty sure I don’t.

When it comes to the magazine’s pages and behind-the-scenes peeks at their picture shoots, not having a single winner pits them against one another.

The victors and losers will thereafter be determined by popular vote. As an experienced cheerleader and model, I believe Berkleigh will be more than capable of competing in that match.
