Ryan Wolfe, Adam Johnson’s girlfriend, has been informed of intentions for the Nottingham Panthers star to pop the question before his tragic accident.
Adam Johnson’s Girlfriend Finds Out A Heart Clenching Thing Post His Death
Ryan Wolfe, Johnson’s longtime girlfriend, stated during the ceremony that Johnson was the love of her life. A heartbroken Wolfe had truly intended to begin a family with Johnson, but that will never happen due to his untimely and horrific passing.
Heartbreaking highlights during her eulogy included her ambitions to open a coffee shop or farm, or his decision to become a stay-at-home father while she continued to work for the family after becoming a “big hotshot.”

The ice hockey player had already purchased an engagement ring, but on October 28 during an Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) game against the Sheffield Steelers, he sustained a gash to his neck. After learning about Johnson’s intended proposal from his aunt Kari, who talked with KSTP-TV, a local Minnesota news station, Wolfe discovered the ring in their apartment.
“We were all really excited because we were really looking forward to their future and he didn’t get a chance to ask her, and then this happened,” she said, something which has since been corroborated by a close family friend, Scott Pion.

Wolfe made mention of the proposed idea at the Johnson monument in his hometown of Hibbing, Minnesota. Addressing herself as “Adam’s fiancée” in her reflections on his passing, she released a letter that would have been “Similar to something I would have written him for our wedding day.”
She said, “Hello, Babe.” “I want you to know how much I love you and adore you. You’ve been so amazingly supportive and kind to me since the day we met, and I couldn’t have been more grateful for it.”

She went on to reveal that plans the pair had made together, adding: “The last year or so, you came up with so many different plans for us. From starting a farm, or coffee shop, or me becoming some big hot shot so you could stay home and be a stay-at-home Dad with a whole vanful of kids you wanted.”
You were everything to me. You were my home, my best friend, my sounding board, my rock, my safe haven and the love of my life. I’m never going to stop thinking about you, missing you and loving you until we can be together again. I love you,” Wolfe said.
After playing with Augsburger Panther in Germany the previous season, Johnson signed with the Panthers in August.

As a member of the Pittsburgh Penguins during the 2018–19 and 2019–20 seasons, he made 13 appearances in NHL games.
In connection with Johnson’s death, an arrest was made on Wednesday; however, the suspect was freed after posting bail. If this individual was Matt Petgrave, the Sheffield Steelers defensive end who was engaged in the accident that severed Johnson’s neck, it was not disclosed by the authorities.

Many online have called for Petgrave to be arrested for manslaughter, even though many believe the entire incident was just a strange accident. Westin Michaud, a colleague of Johnson’s, spoke up to protect Petgrave from abuse.
