Many assumed that Aaron Rodgers had taken his final snap with the Green Bay Packers after he left Sunday Night Football’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles last week due to a handful of injuries, as the team would turn to Jordan Love and give him the reins.

Aaron Rodgers said during his weekly interview on “The Pat McAfee Show” that he had to obtain X-rays mid-game due to a rib ailment that kept him out of the Week 12 game.

Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, expressed satisfaction with the findings of scans on his damaged ribs and stated he intends to start Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears.

Due to his injured thumb, “I might miss practice Wednesday, (or) not be a complete contributor, but that’s been the standard for the last six, seven weeks,” Aaron Rodgers

“I was trying to stretch some things out at halftime a little bit and realized it probably wasn’t some sort of muscle injury. And I just got hit again in the third quarter and was just having a hard time breathing”, he told the whole crew at the Youtube show.

“(The plan is to) go to one of my favourite places to play, down in Chicago, hopefully, get a big win, get into the bye week and get healthy and see where we can get to.”

Aaron Rodgers worried that he might have a punctured lung when hurt. Rodgers recounted that in 2015, during a playoff loss at Arizona, receiver Randall Cobb perforated a lung. Cobb rode an ambulance out of the stadium.

“That was pretty scary,” Aaron Rodgers said. “And I’ve heard some other stories, as well. So, I just wanted to make sure that wasn’t the case. I just couldn’t do anything about the pain to get back out there.”

The Packers’ record dropped to 4-8 after their 40-33 defeat. They might not make the playoffs even if they manage to win all five of their remaining games.
