Aaron Rodgers Dismisses Criticism From ‘Armchair Quarterbacks’: Says He Doesn’t ‘Give A Sh*t’

Aaron Rodgers, the Green Bay Packers starting quarterback, seems unconcerned with what media pundits have to say about him and his subpar performance this year.

On Sunday afternoon, Rodgers and the Packers suffered a 15-9 loss to the Detroit Lions. Out of 43 attempts, Rodgers completed 23 passes for 291 yards. He threw three interceptions and one touchdown. Rodgers intercepted three passes, three of which were close to the goal.

Rodgers spoke about the defeat to the Lions during his weekly appearance on the Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday afternoon. Unconcerned with what some commentators had to say about the costly interception, a sad Rodgers talked about one of the interceptions he threw close to the goal line.

“I’ve thrown a lot of those balls low around the goal line like that,” Rodgers said. “I don’t know that in that play, there were some other things that could’ve probably gone on that could’ve made it a different type of window. But look, I’ve thrown touchdown passes many times. I don’t give a shit what any of these experts say on TV have to say.”

Although the Green Bay Packers have dropped their previous five contests, quarterback Aaron Rodgers is optimistic that his club can salvage the season.

The 37-year-old Rodgers discussed his team’s five-game losing run on Tuesday’s episode of The Pat McAfee Show. “I always believe in myself first, and I bet on myself first to go out there and to impact the game and to be great,” Rodgers told listeners. “I still know that I have that within me.”

The quarterback reaffirmed his status as “the reigning, defending two-time MVP” to the crowd of football fans.

Rodgers threw just one touchdown to go along with his three picks on the afternoon in the team’s fifth-straight loss. He completed just 23 of his 43 pass attempts.

Given the expectations Green Bay had entering the season, analysts’ criticism of Rodgers’ performance this year is hardly unexpected. They have a 3-6 record right now.

The Green Bay Packers will next host the Dallas Cowboys at Lambeau Field on Sunday afternoon.
